Los Angeles-based brand C2H4® is heading to the space ski resort with its latest “Winter Voyage” collection.
Continuing its outlook on future-facing design styles, founder Yixi Chen’s new offering takes the clublike feel of ski resort attire and fuses it with contemporary menswear and womenswear styles. By looking to these styles, the offering of course includes traditional items like headgear and ski gloves, but what shines is the fused elements exhibited in ready-to-wear garments. Outerwear pieces like coats and jackets, tailoring, knitwear and subtle cargo-style ski pants blend outdoor, casual and formal dress notes.
Additionally, by using dyeing, pleating and patchwork design techniques, the “Winter Voyage” collection takes a multidimensional form. Knitwear takes form through oversized asymmetrical turtlenecks, paneled knit sweaters and cut-out jumpers. Outerwear serves as a collection highlight with an eye-catching sea green multi-fabric coat, a slightly oversized slate gray jacket with matching arm piping details and more.
