ExOfficio Believes in the Magic of Travel

21/09/2023

Since 1987, ExOfficio has been paying tribute to travelers by creating clothing that allows them to experience the world unimpeded. Smart designed products with tangible benefits, including the best-selling line of Give-N-Go® underwear and lightweight, wrinkle-resistant fabrics with insect, sun and water resistance, are all focused on one goal: comfort performance.

In 1981, Rick Hemmerling and Joe Boldan founded De Sar Inc., after discovering the need for technical clothing with an outfitting function. The Baja was the first "climate-controlled" shirt of its time, with functional whale and gazelle pockets and transition styles suitable for outdoor adventures. The company was renamed ExOfficio, after the Latin word meaning "by virtue of the office held, member of the elite."

In the 1990s, ExOfficio developed Nycott fabric to make the first comfortable 100% nylon pants, in addition to making briefs into a pair of pants with a non-elastic waist.

Start adopting our logo zipper pocket to provide travelers with a safe, hidden place to carry regular items on the road. Exoficio was the first major company to pioneer high-performance convertible pants, shorts and other versatile styles.

After 2000, Exoficio launched the Give-N-Go mesh underwear, and through the development of insect repellent clothing and various outdoor use functions continue to be loved by new consumers.
