A Century-Old Handmade Brand From The Birthplace Of Modern Football

17/07/2023

The British Motor Museum held a special event on Saturday, May 27th, to celebrate MG's 100th birthday. This event will attract all MG car enthusiasts, whether they have owned one in the past, know someone who owns one, or just want to see these iconic cars proudly displayed together. The MG Owners' Club, Early MG Society, MG Octagon Car Club, MG T Register, and MG Car Club joined forces to host this exciting centenary event.

GOLA, the world's oldest British shoe brand, produced the world's first fully handmade leather football boots in 1905. The use of high-quality leather is evident in both the surface and sole of the shoes. Today, the GOLA Museum in the UK still has the oldest GOLA leather football boots of this century, available for people to admire.

Since its inception, GOLA has been developing smoothly, expanding its business into various sports fields such as tennis, baseball, and athletics. In 1965, GOLA sponsored the famous football team Liverpool, and its popularity soared. Countless world champion athletes and teams such as Liverpool and Manchester United have worn GOLA to achieve great results.

In recent years, GOLA has become a favorite of many trendsetters, including Beckham and Robbie Williams, who are also British-born, as Old Skool fashion has become popular again. Seeking innovation and change has always been GOLA's goal. In addition to always being at the forefront of fashion, in recent years, high-tech computer design and production technology have enriched GOLA's pursuit of ergonomic and aesthetic ideals.
