With the high temperatures that most countries are currently experiencing, it’s almost unthinkable to think about the Fall/Winter 23 season and the clothes that go with it. But despite this, we’ve made an effort and set our sights on the collection from Moncler and avant-garde designer Salehe Bembury.
Both have designed an outdoor-ready line in which the New Yorker’s functional and utilitarian identity is apparent in the design of the recently unveiled offering. Inspired by Moncler’s ēquipements collection of the 1950s and revisiting the codes of mountaineering, the garments that make up the Moncler Genius and S.B. wardrobe are none other than jackets and waistcoats with three-dimensional patterns, as well as collarless shirts in pastel shades. Several details that could not be missing in any of the pieces are the fingerprint motif, Salehe’s hallmark, and the retro lettering that elevates the more casual items such as sweatshirts, available in several modalities. To complement the clothing, there is a series of accessories in the form of textured hats and footwear made up of trainers, called “Trailgrip”, in earth tones with fingerprint-inspired indentations and spiked VIBRAM soles.
The collaboration between Moncler and Salehe Bembury is now available in shops and online.
