Swedish imprint Axel Arigato has tapped UK-born Mulberry for an all-new collaboration that scavenges through the latter’s extensive archives alongside significant pop culture moments from the past 50 years. The unisex line merges the identity of both brands through a timeless offering with an eye for community.
The partnership delivers a trio of classic Mulberry bags blown up to new proportions. Mulberry’s Oversized Bayswater bag receives its largest rendition yet, while the Maddison is reworked into an everyday accessory, and the Shoulder bag takes inspiration from Westbourne’s lively shopping district.
In the apparel department, essential trench coats receive color-blocked styling, standing alongside wool and leather varsity jackets with collaborative emblems. Hoodies and T-shirts don similar circular motifs, while slouchy denim boasts embroidered branding at the knees. Mulberry updates its collaborator’s low-top Area sneaker with blue, green, and brown accents, integrating its gilded Postman’s lock and custom throat straps.
