You Can Now Shop BLESS' Upcycled Jorts, Flamingo Pants, Dog Bags and More

04/07/2023

Berlin-based product design-meets-fashion label BLESS is subversion at its finest, producing the colloquially-known jeels, a weave-wearing visor cap, and now a wider clothing collection that has dropped at the East London concept store, GENTLEWENCH.

Leading the drop is BLESS’ flamingo wide pleated trousers, sporting — you guessed it — an all-over flamingo print. The graphic is hyper-realized, seeing the pink birds create an intense visual clash. Such is the way with BLESS, which also delivers Bermuda shorts covered in miniature dachshund hounds and another pair sporting a meadow floral print.

As for subversion and upcycling, this drop also features jorts crafted from Nike sweatpants on the front and Levi’s jeans on the back, and a pair of black track pants that are in fact Levi’s 501 jeans on the rear. Rounding out the drop, BLESS presents a kitsch, nuanced-covered T-shirt sporting a full photographic print of sea worshipers on a beach being watched by a BLESS-wearing onlooker, and a dog-themed tote bag that’s embroidered like an old chair cover.

Prices range from £130 to £710 and everything is available to shop at GENTLEWENCH’s store and
