Japan’s JOURNAL STANDARD has united with Norio Terada’s YOKE and UK imprint Barbour for its second three-way collaboration. The offering sees the identity of all brands collide under one roof, displaying the unique elements that define them.
Barbour’s hunting-inspired outerwear is used as a base, integrating Japanese design details with a contemporary outlook. The British brand’s recognizable jackets land in navy and green, incorporating YOKE’s deconstructed DNA through ripped armholes that reveal the former’s classic Tartan lining. Cozy corduroy collars are replaced with thin ridges and a lightweight appeal, transforming into wrap-around collars ideal for brisk weather. Exposed pockets at the sides cohesively complete the design with an oversized fit for daily wear across all seasons.
