Those niche brands that rival Louis Vuitton in quality

On May 31st, Bernard Arnault lost his spot as the world's richest person as his luxury empire's stock fell in the Paris market, replaced by Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Following Musk's recent visit to China, LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault plans to visit China this month. Earlier this year, Kering Group CEO Pinault, who owns Gucci, also visited China. For many young people, the prices of these luxury goods can be daunting. However, the following brands offer excellent design and quality that rival well-known big brands while being more cost-effective, and some have a long history.

As the originator of the French family trunk maker founded in 1853, Goyard has created a unique Parisian luggage aesthetic with a commitment to historical heritage, uncompromising craftsmanship, and pioneering creative design. For 160 years, the dot-and-dash Y-patterned fabric from the 19th century and consistent supreme quality have made Goyard's travel art timeless.

Moynat, founded in 1849 by Miss Pauline Moynat, is a renowned French leather goods and travel luggage family. Moynat now has 28 boutiques worldwide in major cities and adheres to the highest standards of French traditional craftsmanship. Each Moynat product comes from a French hand workshop, with each part and process completed in France. In 2010, Moynat was revived by Mr. Bernard Arnault's acquisition. Artistic Director Ramesh Nair draws inspiration from the brand's ancient archives and gives classic handbags and travel luggage a modern and elegant new line.

Valextra is an Italian leather goods brand with almost 180 years of history. Although it is not well-known domestically, it is one of the top favorites in the European and American fashion circles, with its craftsmanship often compared to Hermes. In 1937, Italian designer Giovanni Fontana opened the first Valextra store in Piazza San Babila in Milan. He insisted on combining bold and innovative concepts with traditional craftsmanship from the brand's inception, making the brand a permanent style symbol.
