African Botanics，the beauty label, founded in 2012 in Los Angeles, carries all the natural beauty secrets of South Africa – the roots of the founders Craig and Julia Noik. Far away from their home country, they where inspired of the traditional, wild-grown ingredients to create a luxurious, sustainable and vegan skincare label.All products are made in South Africa. The raw materials come from wild plants and trees and are harvested and processed by local cooperatives under fair-trade conditions.
Almost all of their products are based on Marula oil from South Africa, and later there was a rose line. The centrepiece of the brand is a 100% unadded pure Marula oil, a very high antioxidant vegetable oil, rich in vitamin C and E and essential ingredients for cell repair, as well as anti-inflammatory, sunburn repair and skin sensitivity.
