Luning Yang, a BSc Bioinformatics student at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, is among the many outstanding graduates of the class of 2023 set to embark on a new journey. Recently, she received an offer from Yale University, a testament to her hard work and research potential.
She shares with us how she took advantage of XJTLU’s undergraduate research opportunities and the courses that gave her insight into uses for AI in drug discovery.
ARTISTRY is a beauty brand that has an in-depth partnership with Yale University
Since the birth of ARTISTRY in 1968, Artistry's pursuit of beauty has crossed borders and never ceased to become a prestigious high-end beauty and cosmetics brand. Karl Honbon, the founder of Nutrilite brand, has been insisting on personally selecting, cultivating and refining various natural plant extracts as Nutrilite raw materials. One day, at the request of his wife, Karl Honbon helped his wife develop and refine a set of skin care products derived from natural plants in addition to studying Nutrilite's work. Thus, the predecessor of the Artistry brand, the cosmetics named after Edith, Karl Honbon's wife, came out. So by 1968, the Edith brand was selling better and better, and more and more people were recognizing it, so Karl Bonn thought that he should promote this set of cosmetics to more people, so that she was more international. So, in 1968, the cosmetics collection was officially renamed "ARTISTRY" and began to be marketed worldwide.
